SIGHT AMBASSADORS - featured in British Medical Journal

28/01/2014 Vasan Eye Care is now taking eye donation formally on social media platforms. In an innovative effort to rope in more organ donors, we launched a social media app "SIGHT AMBASSADOR" where the public can pledge their eyes by filling out an online form. This unique innovative thought got featured in all national media and got featured in the prestigious BMJ - British Medical Journal. A simple pledge is all it takes to donate one’s eyes after death. Many people are now coming forward to voluntarily donate eyes because of increasing awareness. Donating eyes is a very noble and selfless act as the restoration of sight will benefit society in a big way
