Dr. Kiruba is a Consultant Neuro-ophthalmologist, Phaco and Anterior Segment Surgeon. She has 29 years of experience as an ophthalmologist, 25 years of experience as a Phaco-Surgeon and 21 years of experience as a Neuro-ophthalmologist. She had a comprehensive and community Ophthalmology training from Govt. Rajaji Hospital, Krishnankovil Rural Eye Hospital and Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. She trained in Neuro-ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital and for 3 months from hospitals in USA – (John Hopkins University / Emory University / New York University Hospital / Weil Cornell University). Dr. Kiruba has done more than 40,000 Surgeries, she has treated and managed more than 1 Lakh Neuro-ophthal patients with sudden & gradual loss of vision, field defects, double vision, headache and loss of vision due to road traffic accidents.
