Dr. Parampureth Varghese Cherian is a consultant Opthalmologist,Practising General Opthalmology since the year 1986 in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Madhya pradesh,Uttar Pradesh and Finally in Chennai city Since 2005,a total of 38 Years.He passed the M.B.B.S From Govt.Medical college,Nagpur,Maharashtra in 1974;Completed D.O.M.S from Christian Medical college hospital.,Ludhiana ,Punjab in 1986.He has worked independently in christian missionary hospital until 2005(19 years)Performing cataract surgeries(above1000 surgeries per year) with partnership of the christ offer bliuden mission,germany and the Government of India(National programme for the Control of blindness)He stopped doing surgeries from 2010,when he joined VASAN EYE HOSPITAL.
