Dr.Rachel .R.G is a consultant ophthalmologist practising at vasan eye care , Tondiarpet . She has over nine years of experience in the field of ophthalmology practising anterior segment surgeries like phaco emulsification for cataract , trabeculectomy for glaucoma and medical retina. She did her MBBS from the prestigious Government Stanley medical college , and did her post graduation MS ophthalmology from Madras Medical College ( Regional Institute Of Ophthalmology). She did her DNB( Diplomate in National Board ) of ophthalmology with National Board of Education. She has done around 5000 phacoemulsification surgeries ( including premium IOLS, multifocals and trifocals ) , and 3000 small incision Cataract surgeries. She also expertises in Pterygium excision with conjunctival autograft , retinal green Lasers ( PRP, Barrage lasers ) , intravitreal injections , PKP , C3R , corneal tear suturing etc,.
