Dr Fathima Shazia has done her MBBS from Kurnool medical College with distinction in ophthalmology, general medicine and Obstetrics and gynaecology and PG in ophthalmology from Medivision Eye hospital, Hyderabad and cleared National level DNB examination with good grade. Dr also donelong-term fellowship in Anterior segment and intraocular lens surgery along with phacoemulsification as specialization from Aravind eye hospital, Madurai. During her tenure of fellowship she was into active teaching and had been a SICS and Phaco trainer. She had performed more than 3000 surgeries.
